Lost

Lady C

I gave up virtue for vice.
I betrayed brother for power.
I denied my name for fame.
I sacrificed blood for bank.
I sold truth for food.
I rejected peace for the pistol.
I scragged friend for fiend.
I snuffed tomorrow's light for today's darkness.

And here I stand, lost,
With my worthless all.
No name, no brother, no friend and no me.
