Scars and Memories

Madds

You know I can't take it alone

When these memories flood

My mind

And these stories

Remind me

Of her;

You know it will only be me.

Like two fireworks

Tied to rollerblades,

I am unstable:

Uncontrollably,

Chaotically,

Irrevocably,

Helpless.

So when the scars from

My childhood,

And the scars I knew

Were my fault

Return to haunt me,

Promise:

You will stay through it all.
