Sober And Sensible

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Trying to find life's pinnacle,
Not dwell and be miserable,
Mainly sober and sensible.
Yesterday I went for a good drink,
But then I had to stop and think.
Taking my mum to hospital tomorrow at midday,
Don't like getting blackout drunk now anyway.
Asked the bartender for a glass of water,
Got up early the next day with no bother.

Nothing like being in control of your life - Great. A good moral lesson there, mate.

I use this trick, have as many as I like then fill a bottle with water.
    Cheers!

Yes, I save myself hangovers - by not drinking! I can't even have some fizzy drinks. They give me the burps. lol
