YOU HAD ME WISHING

Oluwasolape Akode

You brought me flowers and handwritten notes,
You massaged my feet when the illness afloats,
You read my favorite authors as my heart floats,
You brought me my coffee as the day bloats,
You knew the right words, no anecdotes,
You ran beside me through street rowboats,
You had me wishing for love's antidotes,
For you're already taken by the loveliest, in love's boat.

.

when somewon sais love i think of mummys throte,
Im so happy she pushed me out of her tummy,
i like to chew on gummys when in daddies boat,
i ask to drive and he sais nope,
its soooo cool he makes boat FLOAT!!!
Waters so cold mummy needs coat
for chrismas i want a goat
and with goats milk i make soap!
