Greater love has no other,
than that of a mother,
who nine months carries us in her womb
and in her heart, to the shadow of the tomb
Greater love
than God above
She suffers our pains, forgives our sins
kisses us as each morning begins,
From our birth,
a guardian angel on earth
A piece of her each is given,
to carry us back to the gates of heaven

A fine write SB.
Mothers Day in UK is 3 weeks before Easter, so March/April.
Thanks Orchi appreciate the review and comment. With all the diversity in this world I'm surprised that Christmas and Easter are not celebrated on different days around the world.... oh yea there is the Greek Orthodox difference.
It's mother's day here today, what a stunning write full of love and admiration for your beloved mother. Kudos for your love. 🌹
