I watch the
parade of
trivialities line
up like
hemlock,
like mad dogs
yipping at
my ankles.
I'm too
crafty for them.
I laugh and
yawn
and watch
my cats play with
an electric fish.

This makes me think of all the times that such things occur and then I just have to laugh. Stupid things happen in this world.
It always comes back to the most simple of things in life, to be charmed by cats playing in the water, how very charming indeed. Wish life was this simple every day. 🌹
Thank you, Teddy.

You really paint a picture, Thomas. And its the little things, like watching the cats play, that really mean something. Cheers, Tom
