Until You Find Me by Richard Martin

Until You Find Me        By Richard Martin                173

I’m looking for someone special that’s true,

Someone with old-fashioned ways.

Yet an outlook that’s brand new.

One who would pick me up if I stumble and fall,

One with the strength of many,

But only five feet tall.

One who leads me anywhere she wants me to go,

But she would only lead me,

Where I want to go.

One who can be a giant when she speaks

Yet no one will ever know

For she’s quiet and so meek.

One who’s strength is that of an eagle, and could soar through life alone,

But with love as gentle as a sparrow,

She’d wait for me at home.

So here’s to you sweetheart wherever you may be,

I’ll keep on looking for you,

Until you find me.
