Odyssey

Mohammad Younus

Walking through the thorny bushes,
Till my feet are deeply wounded,
Making me unable to walk ahead,
On the road of love.

Still, without hesitation,
I keep marching to my Love's home.
I don't lose heart, I don't turn back,
And I don't call off my odyssey,
To my Love's Home.

Yet, love remains in front of me,
All the while, staring into my eyes.
I, too, stand tall and proud before my Love.

The brave lover within the room of my heart,
Never gets disheartened or disillusioned.
And I learn the great lesson that it is love,
That makes it all worthwhile to embark upon
the odyssey of love.
