Gonzo goes out
with a 45 blast.
He was kicking ass in Aspen,
we knew it wouldn't last.
The rambling, gambling
man of journalism
put Fear and Loathing on
the map,
but in the end,
he couldn't stay.
It's bat country.

Confessing I did Google him to see who he was, wow he spent a year with the Hell's Angels, oh I'd love to do that. Seems he was a very colourful journalist, you give him much respect and admiration. Sounds like he lived his life on the wild side my kind of guy. A Wonderful write 🌹
