THE SILENT FRIEND

NDOU ROLIVHUWA

Notice of absence from NDOU ROLIVHUWA
Hello, I'm currently residing in a rural area with limited internet access. I rely on my prepaid data plan to stay connected, and I'm running low on data. As a result, I'll be temporarily unavailable until I can replenish my data or access a stable WiFi connection. Thank you for your understanding!

You stand by my side, silent as can be

A constant companion, yet never a word to me

You walk with me, through sunshine and through night

A faithful follower, yet without a spark of light

Your form changes with mine, tall or short, fat or thin

A reflection of my shape, yet never a word within

You’re present in the day, but vanish in the night

My shadow, my silent friend, a mysterious sight

  • Comment from author about the poem: May you always embrace your silent friend, your shadow, as a reminder of your constant growth and transformation. Just as your shadow changes shape and size with you, may you adapt and evolve with grace and resilience. And when the darkness falls, may your inner light shine bright, illuminating the path ahead. Remember, your shadow is a symbol of your presence and power, a constant companion on your journey through life.
