Sight

Ayush Raj Mishra

Socializing is nowadays a rare incidence

But once done it brings insight

It isn’t observed despite its omnipresence

But on socializing I observed sight.

We judge fellows without consideration

Though all we assume is almost never right

Interaction brought upon me the realization

Best in truth and most apt for judgement is sight.

Glances suffice to convey favour to an option

Stares of lust are a major plight

For a teacher of quality, what serves as a caption

Is the students’ look of plea and their blank sight.

The look of a brother standing up for his sister

Defines dominance and reassuring might

If you don’t agree with me, are those old wise thinkers sinister?

Because think how many of them conveyed budding love through sight.

As adorable as those pups you adopt

Their need to belong are reflected from their eyes bright

Further proving my point, an alliteration I did here opt

Words are scarce for the wise, because all is spoken by sight.
