Beneath the pall of an eldritch moon,
the library,
a mausoleum of forgotten epochs,
loomed ominously.
Its silhouette,
birthed from onyx rocks forged in hell's bowels,
was etched against the night's tapestry.
Drawn to the arcane tomb like a moth to flame,
her ethereal petite body,
encased dress of obsidian and violet feathers,
seemed to hear a siren melody whispering,
forbidden treasures and power.
A leather bound zaftig figure beckoned,
its presence dominating her thoughts,
inciting a feast of red ink behind her taut,
stitched flesh.
Yet, she could not approach,
for atop a Raven,
a sentinel stood guard.
"Yield unto me, dastardly bird, the eyes are mine,"
she commanded,
her voice cutting through the air like a beak blade.
"Or I'll cut, gut, and stuff you to live through the ages."
With a flutter,
the Raven spread its wings,
an expanse so vast it seemed to embrace,
shadows themselves,
causing the shutters to shudder in this dismal place.
Woman Crow,
now steady,
stands a resolve summoned in the crucible of mental anguish,
lunged and grasped an eye raising threaten
feather,
a glint with her beak a curl.
As she wrenched the wet covered tomb of pus open an instant power surged threw her bosom,
birth a maelstrom of eldritch energy brought fourth grim a zenith whirlwind of cryptic symbols and ancient script no longer inked but ebbed crimson augmented canvas comprised solely on a bent realities open doorway.
Woman crow now newborn goddess,
a vessel laced arcane magus,
visceral specter chimera’s essence sensual caress her breast beating core thrusts melody purrs,
cosmos pulsing sinews of her roses moistened
desires,
moans echoing through the corridor out the front
door and into the moonlit night.
Her life flashing,
visions crashing blind her eyes as this chimera defied binds her psyche,
beating her mind into acceptance before filling her rinds husks empty spaces with it’s unkind assimilation,
brain lacerations send her to find shriek pitch high head to sky.
“Sew needle to skull, sow two bone, too my own fate deprived for I seal thy brother inside,”
she murmured, blow letters a litany reverie,
“suspended, flow his essence, unto me for he is no longer king, the Crow crescendo shall reign as the Raven finale ends.”
The building that protects knowledge,
once a bastion of golden silence,
tumulus with the wail's of the vile horde homunculus,
whispery legion lost souls,
banter syllable bile step a stair descent into the maw of machinated cogs of insanity twist tie madness blackhole grasping Raven to break,
snap pull,
him through to its home forevermore.
The Crow,
now reanimating limbs,
returning muscle ashes flock surging circular,
floating eyes gaze as the Raven became a morsel
meal to be a slave creature darker than demon, circling his wrenching elongated form he was devoured fate forever sealed within the pages of the accursed book she took from beneath it’s feathers.
Perched forevermore,
the Crow sat herself a perch on the book,
the Raven imprisoned within,
her curiosity his prison,
forever bound to the tome she had so desperately sought now chained a plaything chains taught,
ensnared within these pages bared that Raven inside and Crow now sits atop.
