I miss the thoughts that brought me pain
I miss the feeling of deep emotion
The struggle, the fight
I miss the feeling of loneliness
The edge of life that's no longer visible
My mind now feels shallow
Uneventful
I feel nothing but longing for myself
For emotions buried under sediment
The depletion of a vast ocean
Filled with so much life
Something I no longer comprehend
