I've heard people gaze at her in awe
so let's stay in her city to see what it'd draw.
I've heard that she connects with the afflicted
so let's ruin ourselves by feeling conflicted.
I've heard her beguiling eyes seek out pain
so, let's walk through her agonised lane.
I've heard that she loves poetic art
so let's show her the miracles of the heart.
I've heard her voice makes flowers descend
so let's speak to her as our hearts mend.
I've heard the moon stares at her all night
and stars descend to watch her in the light.
Butterflies tease her constantly during the day
and fireflies dwell in her braid, in her night stay.
I've heard her gazelle eyes cause such a stir
that forces deers in the forest to gaze at her.
I've heard her braids are denser than the night
as shadows roam around her in the moonlight.
I've heard her eyes cast a doomsday spell,
So, the kohl-sellers sigh knowing it well.
I've heard that her lips set roses ablaze,
making birds blame the spring in a daze.
I've heard her forehead mirrors beauty,
which simple hearts watch and adorn truly.
I've heard jewels fight to adorn her body,
and add what's best of divinity and beauty.
In the wilderness of possibilities’ expanse,
Imagination traces her curves in a trance.
I've heard her body is sculpted in such a way,
that flowers trim their robes in utter dismay.
Yet, she stands tall like a tree, but in vain,
and wonders over the fruits she would gain.
With a single glance, hearts' caravans fall,
making travellers approach her with fear's call.
I've heard Paradise is near her room's door,
Residents see her beauty yet want some more.
I've heard when she halts, she haloes in grace
making the time melt and stand still in its place.
Who's fortunate to see her unveiled, bare?
Sometimes even walls and doors do stare.
Stories and hyperboles, they might be,
if she’s a dream, let’s make her a reality.
Shall we stay in her city or depart from here?
Come, let’s observe the stars, so dear.
