Inspiration is a light and fickle lover 
that does not follow the path of reason
it lands on a wandering cloud 
running across the rooftops 
with cheeky stray cats 
and I'm waiting for it 
seeking to tame the word  
in the long falling rain.

dressed in sweet melancholy
