Not a drop in all the barren sands,
Once bound seeking my other half,
I had naught to show more than a tan,
Ready to end, were it not for her laugh.
Song on her voice like a gentle stream
Hands as gentle as a flowers petal,
Eyes that steal the air with just a gleam
Legs that never leave you in want to settle.
Touch as gentle as meadows breeze,
Soul stronger than metal,
Heart vast a great trench,
Dwarfed by the kindness you'd shown this wretch.
As though I were led to the oasis that is you,
I wish to be no further than glue,
Bound in your embrace,
Like a puzzle piece having found it's place.
You are all I could ever need,
To quench or to feed.
For saving my life,
I will give you the rest of mine.
