Kekasih

Kebiin

Not a drop in all the barren sands,

Once bound seeking my other half,

I had naught to show more than a tan,

Ready to end, were it not for her laugh.

Song on her voice like a gentle stream

Hands as gentle as a flowers petal,

Eyes that steal the air with just a gleam

Legs that never leave you in want to settle.

Touch as gentle as meadows breeze,

Soul stronger than metal,

Heart vast a great trench,

Dwarfed by the kindness you'd shown this wretch.

As though I were led to the oasis that is you,

I wish to be no further than glue,

Bound in your embrace,

Like a puzzle piece having found it's place.

You are all I could ever need,

To quench or to feed.

For saving my life,

I will give you the rest of mine.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Long had I given up of writing poetry from having lost my inspiration from losing a piece of my heart, but then someone found my shattered remains and returned the piece I had been without for years. She makes me feel whole, she makes me want to be better, she gives me purposes, she gives me bliss just by being in my life. I love you Noodle.
