Trapped within yourself -
Can't seem to escape
Harder I try -
The deeper I fall
Nothing left for me here
Nobody hears my cries
Its clutches have a tight hold on me -
Why can't I ever be free?
Imprisoned by your own thoughts
Absconding seems fitting enough
Down that rabbit hole I go
To my knees I fall
Screaming aloud -
Nobody hears me at all
Restricted within your psyche
It likes to play games
