there was an old man
four walls and a door
a light in the ceiling
and below a floor
it's a lonely life
and such a bore
with nothing to do
especially if poor

A short poem which highlights the plight of some of our elderly. Lonely, confined within the home, and short of money. A sad existence. Thanks for sharing.
