Sit and Think

Mason Vollman

I like to sit and think of a different reality,

changes of majesty,

the opposite of mortality.

What is with the decisions we make,

Why you all sad for me for the path I choose to take,

Its my decision, the choices i make,

So if i lose my vision,

Don't make it your fault.

All we have is one shot,

To make our run a walk,

Then a crawl,

As we sit in hell and rot,

No place to dwell,

You seen i fell,

The only change i see in you is your carelessness swell.

My feelings are almost instant,

Please don't act like you care,

In my eyes your important,

But now my looks a stare,

I try to think back,

but my past is a glare,

Raced through the timeline of existence like a flare with no care.

Whats that you say? "Lies are rare"?

This is all a show,

What an act...

I like to sit and think of change,

To love one another with no exchange,

So all can find Jesus and let Godliness engage,

That we can all band together, and make a change.

This has gone to far,

Gone on to long,

Why does every decision seem to be wrong?

I was doing nothing but trying,

When I first found out this feeling I find,

It took me years to realize i couldn't rewind,

By the time i found myself, in gear and in line,

I've been abused forcefully, and painfully blinded.

Trying to find a cure to mend this broken heart,

To resist the lure and extend from the start,

To stop wanting more, and find my way in the dark,

But they already shut the door, cause life's too short.

"I Like to sit and think, but only think, because anything above imagining, is too vast to ever happen. We can only imagine a better world..."
