How could it be

That someone like me

Could not be disgraced?

I fumble along with you as my song...

But your peace I sometimes erase..

Why reside with a fool by your side

You inhabit eternity.

What have I done to deserve so much fun?

It sure is a mystery...

But one we become the King and the bum,

Entangled in ecstasy...

Forgive me I pray may I not go astray..

All glory to you must be.

I thought you and I were (and are) perfect?! lol.

      We all fall short

      • orchidee

Except you and I - and now we've fallen short, by saying that. Doh!

      • Cassie58

Even the righteous can fall. Not one of us is without sin. Enjoyed the read.

        Tremendously beautiful.

          Him not me!

        • sorenbarrett

A most humble acknowledgment of ones inferiority to the king. Nicely done.

            I do what I must.
