TOMORROWS TEARS

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Beyond the stone arch
To tombstoned ground
A low mist floats
A heartbeat pounds.

The long curls rest
Upon shoulders bare
Ruby lips
A soul to share.

Diamond eyes
Cat like stare
A frozen thought
Upon stifled air.

Tomorrows tears,
Of closing night
The veil to slip
Out of sight.

    Very touching and
    poignant indeed !
    Eloquently penned,
    and my pleasure
    to read..
    Best regards, peace, Thad
