Distant Best

Imparfaite

In miles and time, we're far apart,

Yet, you're forever in my heart.

My distant bestie, near or far,

You shine just like the northern star.

Through screens and calls, we stay connected,

Our friendship strong, never neglected.

Though miles may separate our souls,

In friendship's embrace, we're made whole.

You and I, like day and night,

Different worlds, yet our bond is tight.

Distant bestie, don't you see?

You mean the world, the world to me.

Across the distance, we stand strong,

In our hearts, where we belong.

No matter where life takes our quest,

You'll always be my distant best.
