They're There But We Forget

Gaurav Gurung

I missed the Halley's Comet and that when I wasn't born,

I missed the screening of Titanic, that too when I wasn't born..

I miss out on a lot of things it turns out...

I miss out on many moments as such-

When the fiery orb reports for duty while the guide of night sleeps,

When the first chirp of birds wake the world

When the last verse of bugs ridicule the sane

When babies cry to get a hold of their milk,

When the worms work together to create golden silk..

Too busy from all the stress and work, I often don't realise...

How beautiful life is...

And how we miss on things...

so minute- yet -so beautiful!
