waisy!

maybel

In the moonlit night, memories aglow,
That innocent glare on your face did show.
Those sparkling eyes, like stars in the sky,
Will miss the jolly nature, oh, how time flies.

That hungry-for-food smile, a cherished view,
Still miss the touch of your fluffy paw too.
If you hadn't taken that step, my dear,
I would never have let you go, crystal clear.

    Such a heartfelt poem dude.
May your dog rest in peace. Take care of yourself. He is happy wherever he is.... amazing poem

    Beautiful.

A poem of loss and the pain associated with it. There is some ambiguity in the line "If you hadn't taken that step, my dear,
I would never have let you go, crystal clear." Was this animal hit by a car? or what happened? Sad in any case. Nicely written in good rhyme and meter.
