Valley

Alan R

Grey, blue, cloud shows

Pine trees, bridge ropes

Have you ever been in a valley?

It's as if the mountains

Surround to protect

A tired heart from breaking

And just like that

I'm a wildflower in the making

Losing more of what I'm not

A feeling harder to forget

Than I thought

It's a mountain-town-Zen

Where do I even begin?
