I write heavenly poems about you,
Despite the purgatory
you inflict on my soul.
I glorify you,
As though you are a deity
And not mortal as me.
I feed your ego,
It is your nonpareil
For you are a solipsist.
I give into you,
Your every call and behest
Aware you only lust after me.
I love you still,
For it is my love
And it is not cruel.

Identifiable in that love is not reciprocal nor earned but given and often one sided. Nicely written
Yes exactly, it was never reciprocal but it was given and often one sided, we all get blinded by the desire to feel loved and validated by certain people sometimes.
