To me they are angels walking on earth
They sense your sadness and find a way to nudge in
Remind you of your worth
They rarely talk back and make the best listeners
Watch your child read to their dog
You will see the change in there confidence
Suffering so much at the hands of humans
Still yet they are man's best friend
Even I can not forgive like that
