Love, music and hope

O. Ella

Upon the fusion of our melody, a maestro’s fondle was played

A depiction of pledges, in beats of faith engraved.

Smitten by your gaze at me, as yet I had budding eminence

Unknown to me, an expressionists concealed stratagem.

In the genesis of our journey, there was pellucid rhythm

In the outset of our safari, oaths to love all timbre

Divulged a catalogue of your history where fiends had clambered.

No gleaming shades, just umbra in search of mending salve

A podium of my body, where your distress became a qualm.

A studio of grey unfurled, each tone a veiled record

You produced with your misery, a portrayal of defunct.

Lavender smears beneath my feet, tints of maroon linger

In every fissure of my quiddity, a resonance of your cling

Now clutched by seclusion, I quest to deterge your tinge

Aborting the residues, every souvenir, every ache

Beneath my nails, the remnants of your austere shade

A prospect allures, bemused as to why I embody this tenuous sapphire.
