I can see beyond the blue skies
I am here
No one can ever hurt me again
Because I won't allow them to
Behold the smile on my face
After all these years,
Do you think I care what people see now?
For my tears are never blue
They're just contentious
And the smiles of the doves are legendary
As they stand on my coffin
Protecting my image
Fly, fly little doves
For there is not much life left here...
Blue roses are appealing to the seeming eye,
What do you see
When I am not here?
Distant roadblocks; territorial love
That's all you see
From the doves above
Blue, blue as a contentious mood
For the moon is grey
And the streets are long
I value being blue, for blue adores me
Just a perfect day in the neighborhood.
