World so unkind

shanzah

In the midst of a world so unkind,

A little girl faced assault, left behind.
Revolt and confusion filled her mind,
Yet innocence she carried, pure and refined.

With each passing day, she kept on,
Forgiving and forgetting, not withdrawn.
A heart so young, in love she fell,
Promises of happiness, but in a spell.

Before the stranger, she faced the dark,
Psyche's trials, and a suicide mark.
Yet she stood up, with courage and grace,
Giving chances, in a troubled place.

The stranger's words, like a soothing song,
All she yearned for, yet it all went wrong.
Haunted by doubts, her belief did wane,
"Why?" she asked in a world so inhumane.

She tried to hold on, make him stay,
His heart turned cold, a shade of gray.
In a world of hurt and painful swirl,
She stood calm, but faced every hurl.

Her heart, once soft, now turned to stone,
In a life where she felt so alone.
Through pain, betrayal, and despair,
She rose above, strong beyond compare.

Amidst the pain, she found a way,
Drinking from sorrow's cup, she'd sway.
Dancing with ghosts, no joy to feign,
Forgetting the hurt, no time to explain.

Dignity intact, though judged unfairly,
Pity in their eyes, unaware and barely.
She knows her worth, her limits set,
But hearts can break, a world of regret.

People's thoughts, like a piercing knife,
No understanding of her inner strife.
Life's twists and turns, no one can see,
The shades of blue, where she longs to be.

Seeking peace, in a world of unease,
Yearning for solace, a heart at freeze.
Not just a tale, beyond what meets the eye,
A soul in turmoil, beneath the sky.

Judge her not as a mere display,
For within her, a heart in disarray.
Freeze-frame moments, a life turned askew,
In a canvas of pain, painted anew.

Tired, wired, and worn out she may be,
Through every storm, she sailed the sea.
In a story of struggle and endless fight,
She shines bright, a beacon of light.

In a world of shadows and constant pain,
She found strength, nothing to gain.
But in her heart, a flame still burns,
A story of resilience, in every turn.
