You’re still with me! (Isaiah 41:13)
You see me, You know how much I struggle,
When I’m off balance, all life’s issues I must juggle.
You are my best friend, You have never left my side,
All of my enemies, from You they cannot hide.
My tastebuds have dulled, my eyes have grown dim,
Yet You still fill my cup with love, up to the rim.
I often sit in silence, my ears don’t clearly hear,
But hearing of Your word being read is sweetness to my ear.
My step, heavier, I can no longer run,
How I’m refreshed by Your promise, this race by faith is won.
Physical strength You don’t require,
You send me help whenever I tire.
Now I have grown old, my crown is head of silvery hair,
Still I’m blessed to see Your Kingdom’s rule by your Holy Heir.
At night alone I weep, missing my dearest one’s lost connection,
And everytime You lovingly bring me comfort with Your promise, there will be resurrection.
My tears fall, like the raindrops hitting on the window seal,
Patiently I will await on the day, me, You will heal.
My life by Your guidance and teachings I have lived, Your commandments I have obeyed,
This is why, with You by my side I will never ever be afraid.
