Peace

O. Ella

I stepped out of my mind— and body

And I kept on walking— and walking

Screaming to the nought, saying

“Eternal peace unto me— everlasting”

And this nought thought I was crazy

But most persons, they say I’m silly

So I kept on with it, the screaming

And when I was done, completely done

I went back to my mind— and body

And I said to them, to myself

“I have found her, I am at peace!”
