FATHERS DAY

nephilim56

Tears fall silent
A vacuum of thought
Remembering dad
His memories caught.

Decades have melted
Along forgotten roads
That we two did travel
Thoughts now upload.

The older I become
I seem to miss you more
But the lessons remain
Morals to the core.

So sleep silent at peace
In some place far away
My dad and my friend
On this Fathers day.
