Quiet man

Nicole Pritchard

When a man goes quiet

It is a him telling you he is done

He is being a coward

By not telling you he is done

He is afraid of your tears

When a man is quiet

Then disappears

He is too busy looking for better

Which makes him a bigger coward

He doesn't know what he feels

For him not to use his words

Is the most hurtful thing he can do

When he is quiet

He is telling you

That you are not enough

Listen to his silence

He is speaking to you in volumes

The unspoken actions

Tells you everything you need to hear

A quiet man

Is a scared man that hasn't grown up

Let the quiet man go

He isn't ready to be the man

You deserve

Some men are quiet, so they do not hurt the ones they love. They can't find the less hurtful words to say. Those men are never looking, just wanting a conversation, not knowing how to start it. We often walk away.
