Drifting in the darkness of space
I saw a light illuminate your face
I believed I was going to die alone
forgotten as time took its toll
another ordinary Riverstone
scattered among identical bones
Though I almost lost all hope
I clenched my rosery like the pope
I searched for most of my life to find
The one woman I want to be my wife
(I want to make my wife)
May the stars fulfill your and my wishes
May the stars fulfill your and my wishes
For now with oceans in between
Love is shared through a screen
as we brave the uncertainty
I can already taste the morning tea
hand in hand and cheek-to-cheek
as we gaze upon the Dnieper River
Every promise will mean forever
we know this isn't happenstance
our souls fell into a trance
when two stars aligned at the perfect time
(At the perfect time)
May the stars fulfill your and my wishes
May the stars fulfill your and my wishes
