Mama I'm Coming Home

mtrotter1

Dear mama, you don't have to worry anymore--

For I'm coming home to you in heaven

And we will be in each other's arms again

Just like I imagined--

I know you never loved me

But you will love me here

For heaven is a magical place

Where peace resides;

Oh please don't cry for me, for I will be with you

And we can laugh

And we can cry, together

For it's time for me to come home

And I shall get my wings in the kingdom

I promise, mama, I will be home

Sooner than you think too

For I want to hold your halo in mine

Who needs the world anyway?

For I want to come home, mama

I want to die peacefully

In your arms

And the bells will cry

And the birds will sing

For death is coming to knock on my door

Any minute now,

And God will take care of us

And he will smile upon us

In sweet song;

So how about it mama?

What do you say?

Shall I die peacefully in your arms?

For I don't want to be in this world

Anymore.
