The End For The Beginning

The Dreamer

There she was…right behind him…

The judgement, was passed…

*guilty* as charged…

Dark was everything glossed…

From the ebony pillory,

To the radiating axe,

Silence of abomination,

Cognizance of acts...

Memories of yesterday,

Sins of today,

Her breath, was cold,

Whispers that cajoled...

Sending chills down his spine,

It was no time to whine,

He knew why she was there,

To end all despair,

And so he complied…
