Sounds of Dying

RSM0812

Blow the bell along the river east,

Bring the peace to home I say,

Let the guns fall hard to grounds,

And peace of silence be the sound.

The dead don't cry, alive we try,

To see the world go round and round.

And wonder why we ever heard the sounds of dying.
