Fire

Michael William Reid

When you have to walk through hell

Be sure to keep your step

Moving forward always forward

Even when your heart might tire

Keep your head up remember your goal

And walk right through the fire

When forests burn there is rebirth

And life can start anew

So keep your head up square your shoulders

And bravely walk right through

When a blacksmith fires a lump of iron

The strength will always grow

Forged into something stronger

The inner strength can show

Just like the forests and iron

The fire can forge you to

Into the person you were meant to be

So to yourself be true
