Love (Part 2)

mtrotter1

In heaven's day

I will wipe all your tears away

Only if you wipe away mine

Can love really be so divine?

As the clouds turn dark

As we lay in the park

Our deaths shall be bright

All through the naked night

So I write this song

Twenty miles long

Just to see your wayward smile

Behold the leaves in a pile!

For it is fall, and I fall hard

For death is eternity for this bard

And love is an eager sentiment

Made-up by this wacky elephant

Oh love and lust, it's all so silly

Will you love me, desperately and truly?
