Forgiveness

Laguna

How do I forgive someone who never said sorry?
Every step you take through the salted earth,
my heart rots to the rhythm of an hourglass.
Nothing else seems to quell this rush of resentment than your misery,
and even the pain of your fists would bring me far less suffering.
