Moony muse

Just_my_poetic_side

Earth and moon.

What could their story tell?

Surely, it can make you swoon!

Moon, rocky sentinel,

Silent loner,

Still, remaining a lover

Earth, soft and hot to the core

Unique, as life was tossed,

Full of wonders to be explored!

Earth, swollen in grade;

With tides, moon never let's it fade

Earth's beauty hidden by the night!

To put her in his sight,

The sentinel becomes the spotlight!

Earth's vast wonders,

Could only put the moon to ponder

As for these wonders he wandered.

There the story goes

Accompanied by the Sun's lyre.

Moon not knowing he longs for fading echoes, a widening gyre
