The Accidental Demise

mtrotter1

I am one of those rare souls who loves

A bird without desperate wings

And the mountains seem so fragile today

And my eyes have died silently

For that is brilliant on its own

For love seems like this distant cloud

That never grows dark

But it grows lonelier with time

Still, I ache for the rising sun

Which is never within reach

How beautiful is a turnstile

On a single page?

For my story is written eagerly by fate

The horizontal lines create a distance

Between me and you

For we are stolen in time

And I never meant to hurt you this way

For I didn't want this invisible marriage

To become real

And kings and queens fall apart

In one demanding throne

And then royalty becomes nothing

And both parties are dead...

For royalty is not a safe place to adjourn

I'd rather have my heart cut in half,

Will you have this half of my heart?

Oh sparingly and willingly, the love fades

Yet the real journey begins

For I fall to pieces in loving arms,

The loving arms of a snake!

How can you horizontally treat me this way

When you have one of the most

Beautiful hearts in this world?

For I will never be a fool again

Even if I tried,

The love between us is fragile,

So fragile I want to die

Oh keep me in your arms once more

And tickle my lips with darkness,

Make my cloud burst into flames!

For this is not hell we're living in.
