Countries verses each other again,
Don't worship any of these men.
Paid in the range of £200,000 a week,
Ball's direction is rather oblique.
Lack of interest for Euro 2024,
Glued to the screen while nations at war.
Last year was the final call,
I separated my emotions from football,
Now it doesn't bother me at all.
A sport ruined by politics and VAR,
Found inspiration elsewhere, it wasn't too far.

We would have won a bet if it was 2-1 to England after 90 mins. But there was extra time. Boohoo! lol.
Bye bye £45 win.
They always sting you with the extra time, I've had this happen in the past also.
Oops! I'm a stranger to betting shops - I meant £18, not £45.
Lol.
