VAL - LENT

Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

Today,
A day to share love and hurts,
Red and white,
The colours of the day.

Many legs will spread,
To the sweetness of the moment,
Some will borrow,
To appease the hearts of many skirts,
STDs and pregnacy, the rewards.

Lenten Season,
Comes with sober reflection,
Of the commemoration
Of the fasting and sufferings
Of our Cross Bearer.

Ash Wednesday,
A call for repentance,
Dust the garment
Of all mortals,
Every man to his/her cross.
