Close enough to touch, to far away to have.

ruby Hilton

Fingers overlapping each other relaxing pent up frustration. Knees almost colliding together both of them testing the waters to see who cracks first. Looking anywhere other than each other’s eyes. Bubbling smell of roasted coffee beans lingered trying its best to cover up the awkward sour atmosphere created. Unspoken words but the silence meant a thousand words. Longing glances were shared silently between them reminding them what could have been.
