WAIT FOR YOUR TIME

Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

Identical twins,
Who sucked the same nipples,
Nursed and nurtured,
In healthy environments.

Both struggles and hustles,
Under the scorching sun,
And in the mocking rain,
To attain success,
Yet, fate differs.

Frustration and laughable envy,
May abound,
When one succeeds,
And the other fails.

Patience a costly virtue,
Wait for your time,
Delay isn't denial,
Clap for others,
Yours will surely come.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem calls for a deeper reflection of life. Everyone has his/her time. While we work hard to succeed in life, everybody must not succeed at the same time. We have different grace.
