Keep on Growing

amymehta

When lightning strikes it's deep within,

Whatever part of nature it hits,

The softer part that will simply collapse,

Or the thunder that surely will fight back.

If a tree falls in the forest does it even make a sound?

The only one to tell is the leafs that hit the ground,

The leafs that fall and branches that collapse,

 They seem weak after they fall but perhaps;

The trees are not weak but the opposite indeed,

For when the leafs fall they root their seeds,

They may have tumbled down before,

 but the trees will now grow forever more.
