Spiral Woodpecker

Mutley Ravishes

I'm a woodpecker

Can't you see

I know all about

"Reality"

I can headbutt a tree

Twenty times a second

With no brain complications

I'm hammering out lessons

With my percussion

Stop for a second

I'm hanging from a tree

Who on earth imagined

You, it and me?

Thank heavens

There are infinite

Dimensions

Can you imagine

That?

A cracking poem. I read this in almost a Bob Dylan kind of tone.

Thanks Tom. Well, I try to get some kind of rhythm/flow going. Sometimes works, sometimes....oh well. I like your picture. I take it you like rock n roll?!

Thanks Mutley. 🙂 The picture is of my poetry hero, a guy called John Cooper Clarke. He's from the same city as me and is known as the Punk Poet. Cheers, Tom.

Thanks! I've "headbutted" a window or two. I bet you have too!
