Endangered

mtrotter1

As I'm sitting here reading the Bible

I'm thinking about empty flowers

In a happy vase

The technitude of followings in this town

I love you more than anything

In this crowd;

God thank you for the quest

As I hold your presence near

I wear you like a string of pearls

So pretty in this light,

The light that shines upon the word

The word in which I'm reading

Oh sun and stars create the moon

Tonight I shall sleep beside you

Endangered is the whole world;

The whole world and its species.

Oh God, oh God

Dim the pretty light

The pretty light just for me

For I have long seen a species so bright

The stars are a prominent power.
